Sir Direct inspectors after 1.1.2006 are fixed pay band equivalent to 7450 with grade pay of 4600/-. Whereas, STAs etc promoted after 1.1.2006 are given only one increment in pay band and given 4600 gp, which is less than DR inspector. Now the same is being rectified.
Senior Promotee Inspector with Inspector(DR) only will be stepped up with reference to junior. Seniority list is the criteria for identifying senior or junior.
well, its not ORDER...but, its a clarification letter.... we are always at mercy of PAO staff who are always required to be CLARIFIED.... otherwise, whts the need for such clarification..? its crystal clear that, one's pay can not be less than his/her junior...anyway, the letter is welcome !! ( i m one of the beneficiary Insp, but, fortunately, my pay was fixed inline with this clarification letter, almost 6 months ago !)
In my opinion, it is not applicable to promotee Inspectors. It is applicable to Inspectors(DR). Pl clarify
