DPC FOR SUPERINTENDENT PROMOTION IS LIKELY TO BE CONDUCTED TODAY IE. 24.9.2010 AT 3.30 P.M. THE LIKELY PROMOTIONS ARE ABOUT 80 INCLUDING ALL CATEGORIES. THE PROMOTION ORDERS ARE ALSO LIKELY TO BE ISSUED TODAY.
THE DETAILS WILL BE PUBLISHED AFTER DPC.

DPC is postponed for the third time and likely to be conducted on 27 and 28 th of Sep 2010. Likely vacancies are about 84. Dossiers of Reserved Category Inspectors who have completed 8 years as on 2010 i.e. 2002 batch of Insprs are also called and being sent to CCA today from all Comm'tes. It appears that there are huge number of backlog vacancies consequent to the Kolkatta High Court outcome. Exact figures are not known. We are hoping at least the DPC be conducted on 27/28. In general Category 1991 Insprs are still waiting for promotion.
