ANAMOLY TO BE BROUGHT TO THE NOTICE OF IMPLEMENTATION COMMITTEE MEETING TO BE HELD ON 23.11.2010The anomaly is with regard to Tour TA.There are two situations of tour by a Government Servant on official duty:1) Travel within the city where the official is posted2) Travel in the city other than the Place of Posting As per the new TA Rules, PAO at Hyderabad Central Excise Zone is disallowing any amount beyond RS.150/- per day. This is causing financial loss to the officials who perform tour on official duty.Example:An official with grade pay of Rs.5, 400/- and who is deputed to brief a case to the Departmental representative of CESTAT, Bangalore incurs the following expenditure:a) Travel from Office / Residence to Airport by Taxib) Travel by Air to Bangalorec) Travel from Airport to place of stay in Bangalore by Taxid) Travel within city for attending the CESTAT office / Joint Chief Departmental representative’s Office etce) Travel from place of stay to Bangalore Airport by Taxif) Travel by Air to Hyderabad (return journey)g) Travel from Airport to place of place of residence / Office by Taxi The PAO is disallowing taxi fares for the journeys at a, c, e and g quoting the latest TA rules. This anomaly needs correction and appropriate instructions may be given.Further claims of food allowance and minimum travel allowance of Rs.150/- should be sanctioned on the basis of certificate given by the touring official without insisting for bills as it is not possible to obtain bills for small amounts and everywhere.
Why aiceia has withdrawn the comments column. AICEIA should not be so sensitive to criticism. It is now a days possible to open a parallel web site where all could be invited to put their points without any restriction. Let the so called sensitive comrades be kind enough to visit cengokerala and see what shri Ravi Malik is doing and done.

The official side has in the Action Taken State has indicated their inability to concede the demand raised by the Staff Side on the following two issues.
