Since the extended period of LTC block year 2006-09 is going to end soon, those who want to encash 10 days EL for availing LTC to Home Town/Any place in India for the block year 2006-2009(sub block 2008-09) extended upto 31.12.2010 may apply to your concerned authority and avail the same before 31.12.2010. The LTC leave/journey must be commenced before 31.12.2010 and can end in 2011.You can avail LTC on any type of leave and for any number of days. No need to avail 10 days leave. Only EL equellent to encashment will be deducted from your accumulated EL. Use the following letters as guideline for applying enchashment of EL.
