AS per the Apex Court's order dt 3rd Aug. 2011, the govt./CBEC were supposed to comply within 5 months i.e by 31.12.2011. No promotion orders were issued. Many C.Excise supdts retired without promotions within this perood. The Hon. Court has extended it for further 90 days. Again a number of supdts. will retire without promotion. Why the board is delaying ? The union should call up on,offer help and ask the board not to put off doing what ought to be done. Procrastination is the thief of time.
