Hello Mr Anonymous, everybody knows that more than 10 includes 20 yrs also. under what context it is mentioned is imp. insitu says that inspectors with 20 yrs combined service will be promoted as AC. the question is whether it is necessary that he should work as supdt for 3 yrs to get that promotion. that is what i understand

Hi! Dinesh Babu. 20 years combined services means services as Ins+Sup. How can u be promoted to AC with out working as Supdt (either insiu or regular). Even If u have put in 25 years service as Ins u will be promoted only as Supdt(in-situ). Got it!!

Dear friends,

Keep in my mind that for "subordinate cadre" there is no "God Father" in CBEC. Even though, the PM or FM may have pitty for this cadre, but the Gr A officers within the department will not allow an Inspector/Supdt. to become AC so easily. The Inspector of 1975 is still Supd. and in some com'rate the Inspector of 1995 is also Supdt. The Gr. A officer who was posted as AC/Sr.Supdt in 1975 is Member now. See the difference. Are we not capable to become AC.
