HYDERABAD DPC IS COMPLETED. ORDERS ARE LIKELY TO BE ISSUED ONLY ON MONDAY .DETAILS OF EXACT VACANCY POSITION WILL BE UPDATED AS AND WHEN RECEIVED. AS OF NOW THE LIKELY VACANCIES ARE- GENERAL:54+4(DEPUTATION VACANCIES) SC:3(BACKLOG) & ST 15(BACKLOG). THE PROMOTION ORDERS ARE LIKELY TO BE ISSUED ON MONDAY ::NO ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES FOR ST ARE AVAILABLE. THE CCA OFFICERS AGAIN MEETING ON 25.9.2010 MORNING TO COMPLETE THE PROCESS.

CHENNAI DPC UPDATE

DPC is postponed for the third time and likely to be conducted on 27 and 28 th of Sep 2010. Likely vacancies are about 84. Dossiers of Reserved Category Inspectors who have completed 8 years as on 2010 i.e. 2002 batch of Insprs are also called and being sent to CCA today from all Comm'tes. It appears that there are huge number of backlog vacancies consequent to the Kolkatta High Court outcome. Exact figures are not known. We are hoping at least the DPC be conducted on 27/28. In general Category 1991 Insprs are still waiting for promotion.

Sir,
MAY I REQUEST YOU TO ASCERTAIN THE POSSIBLE VACANCY IN BANAGLORE ZONE FROM THE CONCERNED CCA. THIS WILL HELP US IN DETRMINIG OUR POSITION VIS A VIZ PROMOTION. PLEASE DO THE NEEDFUL. CHENNAI POSITION APPEARS TO BE PECULIAR. HOW CAN THAT HAPPEN. ANY POSSIBLE EXPLANATION. IF THE FACT STATED IS TRUE THEN IT APPEARS ALL ALONG VACANCY POSITION OBTAINED FROM 2002 NEEDS TO BE EXAMINED. IN OTHER CAA s ALSO DOUBT ARISES AS TO WHAT HAD GONE WRONG EARLIER. PLEASE ENSURE NO INJUSTICE IS DONE TO ANY ONE IN ANY CCA. THIS IS THE TIME AICEIA SHOULD PLAY A VITAL ROLE. HOPE GOOD THINGS WILL HAPPEN.

DEAR RAM KUMAR
IT IS DIFFICULT FOR ME TO FIND OUT VACANCY POSITION AT BANGALORE BEING LOCATED AT HYDERABAD. THE CONCERNED OFFICERS HAVE TO BE APPROACHED BY YOUR OFFICE BEARERS ONLY. OR YOU YOURSELF CAN FIND OUT FROM ESTABLISHMENT SECTION, ABOUT THE LIKELY VACANCIES.

In Chennai, both sides (reserved as well as general) had presented their point of view to the CCA. The reserved category officers claim that around 80 SC officers selected on merit are to be eliminated from the list and equivalent number of SC officers are to be drawn from the bottom. They expect that the rectification is to be set right for the period from 1997 to 2001. (in Kolkatta, it is from 1997 to 2004, it seems). It is also learnt that the SC officers had prepared their chart with three probabilities.

The General category officers claim that enblock posts(288 posts) applicable for 1979,1980 and 1981 Inspectors is to be apportioned in proportion to the number of officers available for that particular year. Their further plea that the rectification exercise is to be done prospectively.

What would happen? we will know about it next week. One thing is certain. It will be hay day for the lawyers of CAT/High Court.

dear sri rajguru
will you please categorically state that whether the sc and both st officers are going to be promoted within 8 years as you have mentioned reserved category.
yes you are right it will be hay day for the lawyers of CAT/High Court.

i think this is high time for the general association to step in and allow the representative of sc/st people apart from liaison officer and come to a amicable solution and avoid litigation under all circumstances

regards

Sir,
PLEASE ENSURE NO LITIGATION ARISES AGAIN. EVEN THOUGH YOU ARE IN HYDEARABAD, THERE IS NOTHING WRONG IN ASKING IN ASKING IN AICEIA OF OTHER ZONES TO UPLOAD THE LOAD THE VACANCY POSITION AND OTHER DETAIILS AT LEAST THROUGH YOUR WEB SITE. THERE IS NO REPSONSE FROM DIRECT ENQUIRIES. NO CONCERETE NEW COMING OUT. ONLY AICEIA CAN HELP AND GIVE CLEAR INFORMATION. KINDLY DO NEEDFUL ATLEAT FOR SOUTHERN ZONES. REGARDING AVAILBALITY OF ST/ST OFFICERS, SUPPOSE THERE IS NO OFFICERS WHO HAS COMPLETED 8 YEARS WHAT WILL HAPPEN? THIS IS THE CRUX OF THE PROBLEM. IS THERE ANY DOPT NORMS WHICH SAY THAT IN THE ABSENCE OF ELIGIBLE OFFICER THEN MINIMUM SERVICE CRETERIA CAN BE APPLIED? I REQUEST ANY ONE TO EXPLAIN THIS SITUATION IN CHENNAI THIS IS WHAT HAPPENING. DOPT ALSO SHOULD CLARIFY THIS AS THIS PROBLEM APPEARS TO BE UNIQUE FOR CE DEPT ONLY. IT CLEARLY INDICATES THA ALL ALONG VAANCY POSITION NOTIFIED MAY NOT BE CORRECT. MR. RAJU PLEASE HAVE A BROAD OUT LOOK AND ASK OTHER ZONAL UNITS OF AICEIA TO DO NEEDFUL. THIS IS THE LAST CHANCE FOR GETTING PROMOTION ON REGULAR BASIS. WE DO NTO KNOW SURELY ABOUT CADRE REVIEW IN DECEMBER 2010. I DO NOT KNOW WHY WE COULD BE OPEN AND PLAIN WITHOUT GIVING ROOM FOR SPECULATION.EVERY ELIGIBLE OFFICER SHOULD GET PROMOTION WITHOUT MUCH PUZZ.OK.

As far as Chennai Zone is concerned, the only thing that appears to be constant id that the vacancy is around 80. Every thing else appears to be rumours. Please enlighten

Two things are certain:
1. There would be litigations galore.
2. There would be move to form General category Executive Officers association (for Inspectors and Superintendents).

MR.Raju,
It appears that promotions are going to be heart burns for some and much relief for some others. It is not known how all along, that is till Kolkatta HC delivered (vacated stay) this wrong was continued? Whether since 1997,2002 or 2004 or through out. There is some thing gone wrong from the begining. Who has to be blamed? No one can answer! I am afraid as to what kind of reactions will errupt after 30.09.2009. Each CCA should ensure tht DOPT directions are followed correctly and should not sccumb to any irrational pressure. AIEIA should take up any issues impartially for welfare of all concerned.
