1.             Inter Zonal Transfer Policy for Superintendents of Hyderabad CCA:

  It is learnt that the IZT Policy has been finalized and is likely to be issued by tomorrow. It is reliably learnt that IZT Policy has been finalized and a copy of the same has been sent to Vizag CC and the same is likely to be released officially by tomorrow i.e. 28-3-2013.

2.     Intra-Zonal Transfer Policy (Inter-Commissionerate Transfer Policy ) for Officers of Hyderabad Zone:

       For the  first time a separate transfer policy for Superintendents and Inspectors of Hyderabad Zone is likely to be formulated. CC-Hyderabad Zone has held meeting with the concerned Associations of Hyderabad Zone  yesterday i.e. 26-3-2013.  It is learnt that this policy is also likely to be released simultaneously along with IZT Policy.

3.      Creation of separate Customs Commissionerate in Hyderabad:

It is learnt that the CC-Hyderabad has proposed to create separate Customs Commissionerate in Hyderabad and proposals to this effect are likely to be sent to CBEC.  It is also learnt that CC-Hyderabad has mooted a proposal to man the RGIA Airport and other Customs Postings like ICD/ACC from the sanctioned strength of Hyderabad-II Commissionerate. Officers will be deputed to RGIA Airport based on Board norms for International Airport and against local quota in Airport Pool, it is learnt that only officers from Hyderabad-II Commissionerate are likely to be deputed after giving due weightage for the officers of Vizag Zone also.  Modalities for a permanent and transparent policy for manning of RGIA and the deputation of officers are likely to be issued in the ensuing ICT Policy.
